As a Generalist Adviser with North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients when they need it most. Using your listening and questioning skills, you’ll provide confidential and impartial advice across a wide range of issues including benefits, housing, money and employment. You’ll respond to client enquiries via telephone, email, webchat and other communication channels, helping people understand their rights, explore their options and take positive steps forward.
We’re looking for a qualified Generalist Adviser with recent experience at Citizens Advice or a similar advice agency operating under an appropriate quality mark. You’ll have experience of meeting performance targets and a commitment to providing a high quality service to all clients. In return, you’ll join a supportive team, receive ongoing training and development, and be part of an organisation that’s dedicated to improving lives through personalised advice.
The role can be based in the successful candidate’s preferred North Yorkshire office (Northallerton, Richmond, Malton, Scarborough, Selby or Harrogate), with hybrid and remote working options also available.
