Are you passionate about developing people and helping them reach their potential? Can you create learning opportunities that improve performance, build confidence and strengthen organisational capability?
North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre provides free, confidential and impartial advice to around 25,000 people each year, helping people find a way forward with issues including money, benefits, housing and employment. As an independent charity rooted in our communities, we’re committed to improving lives while continually developing our people and services.
We’re looking for an experienced learning and development professional to lead our organisation-wide approach to learning and development. As a member of our Senior Management Team, you’ll shape how we develop our employees and volunteers, ensuring colleagues have the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high-quality services. You’ll work closely with managers to strengthen leadership capability, improve learning across the organisation and support continuous improvement. You’ll also provide strategic oversight for a number of organisational projects, ensuring they are effectively governed and aligned with our organisational priorities.
Whether you’re already leading learning and development or you’re ready to take the next step into a strategic leadership role, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on our organisation and the communities we serve.
This role can be undertaken remotely from within the UK. Hybrid and office-based working are also available, if preferred, from our offices in Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough or Selby.
