Advice First Aid Workshops Across North Yorkshire

Citizens Advice will be delivering their Advice First Aid (AFA) workshops at locations across North Yorkshire, including Northallerton, Stokesley, Filey Library and Harrogate Library.

The Advice First Aid programme offers a valuable opportunity to upskill volunteers and frontline staff who regularly support vulnerable people in their community. In many roles, you may come into contact with individuals who are struggling, perhaps you notice a problem, or they tell you they need help, but you’re not sure what to do next. That’s where North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre can support you

Through the AFA workshop, you’ll learn how to recognise when someone is experiencing issues such as debt, housing, benefits, or employment problems and how to guide them towards the right help at the right time.
